Relocating to Canada: Everything you need to know.
Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, as well as being the 10th most developed commonwealth country with the 10th highest per capita income in the world. It comprises 10 provinces and 3 territories; each self-governing under the umbrella of the national parliament.
Canada is an extremely multi-cultural country with one of the most ethnically diverse populations in the world. This is, in large part, due to an immigration policy, which has attracted many people from all corners of the world who have contributed to creating the 11th largest world economy. Expats can greatly benefit from high housing standards, excellent public transport, very good schooling and health services,
Schooling in Canada is the one of the most highly educated countries in the world; it actually ranks first with most organisations such as OECD. Around 90% of adults have at least a high school diploma and over 50% have the equivalent of a university degree and education is offered in both English and French.
Health Care Most of health care in Canada is publicly financed but privately delivered. Under the health care system, individual citizens are provided preventative care and medical treatments from primary care physicians as well as access to hospitals, dental surgery and additional medical services. With a few exceptions, all citizens qualify for health coverage regardless of medical history, personal income or standard of living.
Documentation and Visas
Before you can move to Canada, you must apply for permanent Canadian residency with the Office of Immigration. To enter Canada as either a visitor or to move to Canada temporarily or permanently, you must provide the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) with certain documentation to cross the border or you will not be allowed to enter. Depending on your personal circumstances, current place of residence or work situation, you will need to provide different documentation. Chepyng can analyse your personal circumstances and help this process run as smoothly as possible.
